Question: Who are the aliens that were attacked by the Army? Do they have any connection to Duddits or Mr Gray?
Answer: They are the same species as Mr Gray - note that Morgan Freeman's description of their appearance is the same as the form Mr Gray took before possesing Jonesey. As to how Mr Gray got so far away from the other aliens, or why they were mowed down while he was almost unstoppable is anyone's guess - this movie is a mess.
Question: During the scene when Jesus is being crucified he looks towards "Heaven" and asks something like "why have you forsaken me?" What does he really say and does this mean to imply that even Jesus questions God at times?
Answer: Even in his anguish, Jesus still resorted to Scripture to fight his battle, and Psalm 22 is a messianic text which depicts the suffering of the Messiah.
Answer: According to the King James version of the bible, Jesus cried from the cross "My God, why hast thou forsaken me?" Most people believe he cried these words in desperation and anguish, others who study Aramaic believe he meant it as an understanding exclamation (i.e. he's grasping that it's his destiny).
Question: Why were the enforcers called sandmen?
Answer: In popular American lore, the Sandman is responsible for putting sand over your eyes to make you go to sleep. In this context the "sleep" is a euphemism for death, and the enforcers are responsible for making sure that everyone dies on time.
Question: Not directly related to the film, but to Eminem's song "Sing for the Moment". At one point he says "you're full of sh*t too Guererra, that was a fist that hit you". Who is Guererra?
Answer: In June 2000, Eminem got in trouble for having a gun at a nightclub. John Guererra was a bouncer at the club that Eminem thought kissed his (then) wife. Guererra alledged that Eminem pistol-whipped him, but Eminem continues to deny the charges.
Question: At the beginning of the film, Will Graham discovered that Hannibal Lecter was the murderer he had been searching for. How was he able to do this? All he did was open a book and the word 'Sweet Bread' appeared on a page. Could some explain this to me?
Answer: The victims had particular body parts removed. Will saw recipes in the book belonging to Lecter for those particular body parts and made a leap of intuition.
Answer: It is revealed through a conversation between Will and Hannibal that Will already suspected Hannibal but had failed to act on his intuition. This combined with the recipes Will sees, that correspond with the missing body parts, highlighted in Hannibal's cookbook and the penny drops.
Answer: "Sweetbreads" is an organ meat (like kidney or liver)...he wrote it in the book as he most likely cooked it.
Answer: When Lecter and Graham were talking at Lecter's desk, Will went into a story about how his son's grandpa was showing him how to carve a chicken. When he showed him a part on the back that he referred to as "oysters" it caught his attention because he hadn't heard that before. Now a few moments later he finds the cookbook which referred to other parts of animals that can be used to make what they called "sweetbread." From the previous conversation at the desk it was safe to say Will was already somewhat suspicious of Lecter because of his analysis.
Question: Before the "Whoo Hoo" song in the House of Blue Leaves the group sang another song. It's not in the soundtrack. What's its title?
Answer: 'I'm Blue' or 'I walk like Jayne Mansfield'.
Question: A question for all the extended DVDs. Why does Viggo Mortenson not do commentary with the rest of the cast? Is he opposed to it, or simply could not make it? I missed his presence on the disc and was also wondering if he'd be speaking on the Return Of The King DVD.
Answer: Since he does do the interviews about the film, I don't believe he's opposed to commentaries. And since he was really the only one working on films at the time the commentaries would have been recorded (Hidalgo especially), it's possible that he simply couldn't be there. Other cast members were working on films also, but Viggo was the only one starring in his, and probably couldn't take the time.
Question: In the card room, in the back of the bar, what exactly does Carter say after telling his cousin that the only reason he hasn't busted him is because he is his cousin?
Answer: Because it would kill Aunt Bootsie.
Question: On IMDB it says in this film there are some INTENTIONAL continuity errors. Does anyone know any of the intentional errors, perhaps along with a timecode?
Chosen answer: The kid points them out in the film, in order to convince Arnold's character that he inhabits movieland. Also, after Arnold's character falls into the tar pit he is able to completely wipe himself clean, an obvious intentional continuity error.
Question: After escaping in the pod, Threepio says, "That's funny; the damage doesn't look as bad out here." But they're too far away to see the ship they were in; all they can see is the Imperial Star Destroyer that "swallowed" their ship up. Was this a humorous character-mistake by Lucas to show how erroneous Threepio can often be? Or could Threepio actually see the small ship the rebels were in (hardly looks possible, given the shot shown when he says it)?
Chosen answer: Well, he is an android, and I doubt the designers would be satisfied at giving him just normal human vision. He probably has some sort of optical enhancements, which would be pretty necessary for any sort of technical work, and he does say that he's done that in the past.
Question: UK screenings of this film begin with a 'UK Film Council' credit. Why would this appear when it's an American film?
Chosen answer: Because it probably got some funding from the UK Film Council.
Question: Is there a list somewhere of exactly what Morgan Spurlock ate on each day? It seems that on several days, he ate more than a standard meal (you often see multiple sodas visible on desks, or he carries bags larger than a typical McDonalds' meal bag), which rather hurts the point he's trying to make.
Chosen answer: If you were going to eat at McDonald's three meals a day for 30 days, would you actually make 90 separate trips to the restaurant? I'm sure there were times that he got 2 or 3 (or more) meals at the same time and simply reheated them. As for the cups, I know lots of people with old soda cups on their desk and tons of them in their car. The crew may have had food too.
Question: Did the filmmakers gave a reason why there were numerous biblical references in the trilogy?
Chosen answer: The movies are about the coming of savior (Neo/Jesus), a war to end the world (Armeggedon), an evil force that enslaves mankind (machines/AntiChrist), etc., etc., etc. Since the Bible is greatest common point of cultural reference in Western culture, it would be extremely hard to make a movie with this plot without making a Biblical reference to some degree. Even if it had been made by Bollywood about Vishnu and Krishna, when shown in the West it could have had Biblical comparisons drawn.

Question: Is Brenda the result of Tina's abuse by her father or from just a random boy?
Chosen answer: Yes, Brenda is both the daughter and the half-sister of Tina.
Question: Rasputin and Hellboy each say Hellboy's real name towards the end. I didn't catch it properly, what exactly do they say, and what (if anything) does the phrase/name mean in English?
Chosen answer: According to the comic books, his name is Anung Un Rama, or 'World Destroyer, The Great Beast.'
Question: Considering Luke's severed hand was replaced by one which looks exactly like a normal hand, why does he wear a glove? Is it explained in the books?
Chosen answer: It's explained in the film, although not terribly clearly. Luke's hand takes a direct blast during the fight on Jabba's sailbarge, putting a rather unsightly charred hole in it. As they leave Tatooine, Luke is seen pulling on a glove to cover the hole - he then wears it, I believe, for the remainder of the film. Presumably, with visiting Yoda and all the preparation for the assault on the Death Star, he hasn't had time to go and get it fixed.
Answer: Additionally, from a story standpoint, when Luke cuts off Vader's hand to reveal it to be completely mechanical, he looks at his own gloved hand and is reminded what lays ahead if he turns to the Dark Side. That shot would not have worked as well if he just stared at what appears to be his normal hand, thus they found a reason to put a glove on it early on.
Question: Did Creasy really shove C-4 up Fuentes' arse, or did he just attach it to the gas tank of the car?
Answer: If the c4 enema were true, the explosion would have been blood and guts and smaller than the fireball depicted. Maybe the filmmaker thought that too realistic and gave the viewer the explosion that is more palatable.
Answer: Creasy explained to Fuentes that he used a suppository dispenser popular with drug mules to load the C-4 into Fuentes. And Fuentes had to have known what happened to his corrupt policia federale in the car and what happened at the rave, so he knew for certain that Creasy was authentic. Fuentes knew that his life was in jeopardy. As such, he tried to talk his way out - "Hey, take it easy", "I'm sorry about the girl", "I'm a professional." He tried to threaten his way out - "I'm the Presidente of La Hermandad." Fuentes was trying to buy time, to talk his way out of his impending enema. He needed enough time for Creasy to free him and for him to extract the C-4. And Creasy knew that, which is why he replied, "I wish you had more time."
Question: How did Rick got the tattoo on his arm in the first place and how did he know the reply for the riddle given by Ardeth?
Answer: In the movie, when Ardeth - after being given the correct answer to the riddle - claims that Rick has the "sacred mark" making him a "warrior for God", Rick says something like: "Nah, I got this slapped onto me while I was in an orphanage in Cairo." The explanation is simple: Rick was an orphaned child who was raised in Cairo, in an orphanage which belonged to the Medjai (who were very much infiltrated in the city, as evidenced further by the fact that Mr. Bey, the curator of Cairo's Museum of Antiquities, was a Medjai himself). Children in this orphanage were given the wrist tattoo which all Medjai are marked with when they come of age at sixteen, and were taught the riddle since the moment they were brought there. However, they were not told about the meaning of the riddle, nor were they made aware of the Medjai's existence as a society; the response was simply repeated to them until it was so ingrained in their memory, that upon hearing the riddle they would automatically offer the correct answer, thus allowing the Medjai asking the riddle to recognize them as part of their society. The reasons for the Medjai to own that orphanage to begin with are shrouded in mystery, but it can be speculated that they simply used it as a way to even further increase their numbers.
