Continuity mistake: Just after Pollyanna and Jimmy are given the watermelon slices, there is an overhead panning shot of the bazaar grounds and Mrs. Lagerlof is seen at her cake stand, but in the next shot (and two shots later) Mrs. Lagerlof and Mr. Tarbell can be seen dancing together at the bandstand at the other end of the bazaar (then a few shots later she's back at her cake stand). Continuity mistake: When the Darkness attacks during Camryn's birthday party, Ileana and Camryn run up the stairs, and as they enter the bedroom the drawing of Thantos that Camryn holds is undamaged. When the Darkness takes Ileana, Camryn stands beside her closet across the room and in the next shot the drawing she holds has burnt edges, though the Darkness was never near her or the drawing.

Continuity mistake: Lucinda prepared a frosted chocolate cake that had "Happy Birthday Alex" written on it. Although Alex has the slice of cake on her plate with the capital "A" on the frosting, the rest of the uncut cake still has the "Happy Birthday A" written on it. (00:56:10)

Continuity mistake: Before Pollyanna arrives on the train, when Jimmy Bean pushes the metal hoop down the road, two girls stop their doll carriages right beside each other and grab their dolls, but in the next shot their carriages are about 4 feet apart, which is now wide enough for Jimmy to run between. Continuity mistake: After the twins enter the car wash, in the first shot when Gabriella walks through the vertical black cloth strips, with squeegee in hand, she is wearing the large hoop earrings. When it cuts to the next shot, as she shouts, "Bri?," her earrings are suddenly gone. This occurs before Brianna climbs onto Gabriella's shoulders. (01:04:00)

Continuity mistake: At the start of the pep rally, Mr. Ames takes a seat behind Austin in the close-up. Next shot facing the crowd, when Coach steps up to the stage, Austin's father is gone - his seat is empty, but a couple of shots later Mr. Ames is still there. Additionally, Sam and Carter are also gone in the crowd shot. (01:09:40)

Continuity mistake: In the Great Hall, when Dumbledore says, "Good evening children, I have two changes in staffing this year," we see Fred and George Weasley sitting in the fifth and sixth seats, and the other students near the end of the Gryffindor table. Next shot facing Dumbledore, we see the last seven students at that side of the table and not only are the Weasleys gone, but other students differ as well. This is also seen in additional shots. Continuity mistake: When Austin is putting up the Cinderella fliers with Ryan and David, his hair is considerably shorter than the following shots, such as when he goes to the diner and talks to Sam at the counter.

Continuity mistake: At the end of "Work This Out" the group take to the center of the kitchen floor for the final dance routine. To the left, the long white apron string either hangs down or lies on the table over and over again. (00:23:55)

Continuity mistake: After Fulton gives the group their staff assignments in the kitchen, during "Work This Out" there are table order tickets hanging over the grill and fry stations. In some consecutive shots the amount goes from three to one, to three, to one, back to three, etc. (00:22:50)

Continuity mistake: After exiting the helicopter, when Mr. Evans is walking towards his family in the shot facing him, his golf club is in his left hand and swung over his left shoulder. Next close-up from behind, his club is in his right hand and over his right shoulder. (00:34:25)

Continuity mistake: When Mr. Evans shows up in the helicopter, its blades are still spinning at a fast clip when he exits in the close-up. Problem is, the blades are not creating the distinct whirling shadow (nor is there any wind caused by the blades) on the surface of the red chopper, that we see in the two wideshots. (00:34:10)

Continuity mistake: During "All For One" at the pool party, mid-song the six singers split up into two groups of three - two girls and a boy and two boys and a girl; Sharpay, Troy and Chad walking down to their right (viewer's left) and Ryan, Gabriella and Taylor walking down to their left (viewer's right). Next shot, still singing and walking down, the three girls are walking to their left and the three boys are walking to their right. (01:46:20)

Continuity mistake: As Gabriella and Troy dance out of Ms. Darbus's classroom, there are two books (yearbook and schoolbook) on Taylor's desk (in front of Jason). Next shot, when Ms. Darbus slams schoolbooks onto Jason's desk, there is only one book on Taylor's desk. (00:02:40)

Continuity mistake: Before the school bell rings, Jason asks Ms. Darbus for her favorite summer memory. When everyone turns to look at him in the shot from the front of the class, there is a book under Troy's desk, which is not there in the previous or following shots. (00:01:25)

Continuity mistake: At the U of A basketball court, in the overhead shot Troy sits down beside a crumpled white towel, which disappears in his close-up as he calls Gabriella's cell. That towel returns in the subsequent overhead shot, when he continues to play basketball. (01:08:40)
