Continuity mistake: Tied round Dumbledore's beard is a thin silver strand, with dangling silver balls, that changes position and the height of the silver balls differ in consecutive shots, depending on the camera angle throughout the film. Continuity mistake: When Jackson is in the air with the balloons his flip-flop lands beside Rico. The flip-flop goes from behind Rico to in front, from face up to face down, and so on.

Continuity mistake: When Marge arrives, as she walks towards Petunia, there are two gold trim bars installed between the carpet edges and kitchen floor - one in the doorway and another between the kitchen counter and wall. Both disappear in the following shots. (00:02:00)

Continuity mistake: When Harry goes to the table to clean up Marge's broken glass and when he stands at the counter as Marge blows up, there is a large rug in the kitchen, under the center cart, whose edge reaches the counter stools. When Harry storms downstairs with his trunk, Petunia and Dudley stand at the kitchen doorway and the rug is gone - it would be visible if it was on floor. (Likewise, the rug was gone when Marge and Ripper arrived, but it could be presumed that the rug was laid out before their meal.) (00:03:50 - 00:06:40)

Continuity mistake: After Troy has the chat with Chad on the basketball court, when they're joined by Coach Bolton there is a close-up of Chad and Troy, whose graduation gowns/sashes are neat and tidy. Then after a shot of the coach as he tells them to get back to the stage, in the teenagers' next close-up their graduation gowns/sashes are all mussed up and disheveled.

Continuity mistake: During the rehearsal of "Just Wanna Be With You", Jimmie leaves the cup of paint and paintbrush beside the railing. Not only does the cup of paint move (note rail post and pickets) in following shots, but after Gabriella dabs paint on Troy, the paint cup just vanishes, as well as the paintbrush Gabriella dropped. Continuity mistake: During rehearsal, just after Ryan cracks up at the sight of Chad in the clown suit, as Taylor pulls Chad away Gabrielle walks to the center of the 'balcony', with her back to Troy. Next shot, however, Gabrielle is back near the corner or the railing facing Troy, but next shot she's farther away again. (00:51:50)

Continuity mistake: When John brings Marley home the first time while Jen's away, the bag of Puppy Chow kibble falls. The bag's position on the floor (note tiles), the amount of kibble and John's hands all change between shots. The fallen kibble also changes between shots as the puppy lies on the floor devouring it. Continuity mistake: When the dog-sitter pulls up in front of the Grogan's house in the exterior shot, the curtains at the window beside the stairs are pulled nearly closed, with only a narrow gap between. Next interior shot, as Marley barks at the window the curtains are pulled more apart, but when Marley pulls Debby outside as the Grogans leave, the curtains are as they were in the first exterior shot. Continuity mistake: When Jen comes back from her trip and opens the garage door to find puppy Marley and the destruction he caused, the stuffed alligator that Jen holds goes from face up, to tail-end up, between shots. (00:17:10)

Continuity mistake: When John and Sebastian step out of the elevator discussing Jen, the spare room, step seven, etc, John's bag strap hangs across his chest with the bag at his right, in the shots facing them once they reach the newsroom, but in shots from behind John's bag hangs straight down on his shoulder with the bag to his left. Continuity mistake: In the kitchen, when Jen talks about John's first article in the Sun-Sentinel, John lifts the orange juice container to pour into a glass and its orange lid is on the counter, but next shot the lid is on the container and he has to remove it. (00:07:10)

Continuity mistake: The antenna/aerial mast located on the rear windshield/hood of Frank's BMW vanishes and reappears repeatedly. For instance, before the first shot of the two garbage collectors walking, in the closeup of the two AIC robbers in the back seat looking out through the back windshield (one screams) the antenna/aerial mast is gone. Continuity mistake: When Frank's revenge at Wall Street's home is near an end, as Lai rolls the office chair toward the door her legs are bound to the chair base, and her hands are tied behind her back (not to the chair). When Frank finds Lai in the car, now the rope is only tied around her ankles when he removes her (and if that were the case she had no reason to hide in the car with the chair in the first place). Continuity mistake: When Inspector Tarconi is in Frank's kitchen eating Lai's Madeleine cookies, he's holding the cookie with his left hand in the close-up, but next shot it's in his right hand as he takes another bite. (00:40:40)

Continuity mistake: When Frank begins his revenge rampage on Wall Street's men, there's a close-up of Lai bound to the office chair with duct tape across her mouth and the slit Frank made earlier is gone, so at first it's to be presumed that it's a new piece of tape. However, when Lai pokes her head out from the back seat of the car Frank stole, there is a slit in the tape, but when he pulls her and the chair out onto the road the slit's gone, only to return again when Frank brings her to his house.
