Continuity mistake: When Peter is calling for people to fight Lois, he is standing next to a sign that says "Fight the ass kicking housewife" and has metal rings at the top. When it moves to a closer shot, a hyphen has appeared between "ass" and "kicking". Then, after the space where the commercial break would have been, the sign now says "$10.00" and there are no metal rings. Finally, in the next shot, the sign says "Fight the..." and has metal rings on top. (00:06:55)

Other mistake: During the Vagina Monologues show, the pair of legs casts a shadow but the microphone stand doesn't. (00:00:45)

Revealing mistake: When the blade cuts the trolley in half, the blade hits the top of the trolley but the metal frame of the trolley is to break in a perfect cut. (00:04:30)

Plot hole: When the survivors arrive in Las Vegas, all that is visible is the Strip. No other buildings are seen, even though Las Vegas has other high-rise buildings that are not on the Strip, and the level of sand that has built up is not substantial enough to have buried the entire city. Continuity mistake: During the initial fight scene, one of the Alice clones takes cover behind a pillar, which is fully intact. When the shot cuts to show her and the other clone, there are three bullet holes that have mysteriously appeared in the pillar. (00:11:10)

Continuity mistake: Right before the Needle Dive, the two Alice clones can be seen wearing high heels when they are standing still shooting the Umbrella soldiers and flats when they run towards the window and jump through it. (00:07:45)

Continuity mistake: In the laser corridor, the team leader is stood upright when the lights comes on, but as the camera changes to a front view, he is crouched. (00:30:10)

Other mistake: During the scene with the laser, the laser moves along the floor where the EMP device is located, several times. However, when Kaplan and Alice enter the room, the bag with the EMP unit is still intact. (00:31:15)

Deliberate mistake: When the woman is attempting to escape from the elevator, it dislodges and falls down, so then the actress is facing the ground...but when her arm hits the floor, the floor itself bends. If you watch the DVD with the commentary on, the director points out that it was a break away floor in case the actress' head accidentally snapped forward, to avoid any injury. (00:08:00)

Revealing mistake: When the team leader is opening the door to the Red Queen chamber, he clips an electronic device to the door to hack the code. The device is actually a blood glucose monitor as used by diabetics - an Accu-Chek, I think. (00:31:05)

Trivia: All the cast and crew (including the producer) had to undergo a grueling one week of military training (which they dubbed their 'week of hell') under the supervision of a battle hardened ex-navy SEAL. By the end most people were naturally eager to give their trainer a little of his own medicine. Miss Jovovich (Alice) did: he's the zombie she head kicks into the test-tube cabinet and then steals the gun from (before fighting the zombie dogs). What sweet justice.

Revealing mistake: When Alice hits the first person in a biohazard suit, the padding is visible on the chest section. (01:25:40)

Continuity mistake: When Kaplan is walking through the corridor to get the EMP and head into the Red Queen's chamber, Medic's legs are together. When we see all the power shutting off, her position has changed and now her legs are apart. (00:32:40 - 00:35:50)

Revealing mistake: When Kaplan is trying to turn off the lasers, take note of his keyboard. His fingers aren't touching the keys. (00:31:20)

Continuity mistake: When the SWAT team arrives at the hive, the open an elevator shaft and one of them lights a flare with 2 hands. As the camera changes, he is now holding it at arm's length and with one hand without enough time to do so. (00:23:05)
