X-Men (1992)

Obsession - S3-E10

Continuity mistake: When Apocalypse is forced onto the platform by his own defense system, his body covers much of the platform's circumference. A couple of shots later, the circumference of the platform is noticeably larger. (00:17:57)

X-Men (1992)

Obsession - S3-E10

Other mistake: When Archangel fires a barrage of razors at Apocalypse, Apocalypse forms his hands into shields and deflects them, but in the same shot, a second barrage of razors magically appear out of the shields and are fired back at Archangel. (00:16:55)

X-Men (1992)

Obsession - S3-E10

Other mistake: When the ship is counting down from 5 to 1 to signal when the bomb will detonate, it actually takes 5.5 - 6 seconds for the 5 seconds to elapse. Given that it's an advanced computer doing the countdown, it should be more accurate. (00:12:25)

Deadpool 2 (2018)

Deadpool 2 trivia picture

Trivia: A promotional poster for the PG-13 version of this film (Once Upon a Deadpool) was released as a parody of a painting commissioned by the LDS church called "The Second Coming." This was reportedly done in response to the state of Utah - known for the LDS church having unconstitutional influence over its state laws - fining a theater that served alcohol for showing the first film, alleging that it violated state liquor laws by serving alcohol while showing nudity or simulated sex.

Deadpool (2016)

Trivia: Ryan Reynolds donated $5,000 to the defense fund of a theater in Salt Lake City that was fined for showing this movie. The theater in question is known for serving beer, and Utah state liquor laws prohibit the showing of nudity or simulated sex in places that serve alcohol. A U.S. district judge ruled that the law violated the theater's freedom of speech and ordered the state to pay them $474,000. In response to the fine, Reynolds tweeted "Thank god, they've found a way to legislate fun."

Dexter (2006)

Season 8 generally

Stupidity: Hannah spends the entirety of season 8 as a fugitive in hiding, but never thinks to make herself less conspicuous, such as dyeing or cutting her hair, or wearing disguises when she goes out in public.

Disobedience (2017)

Question: Why does Ronit put on a Sheitel before discussing her late father's house with her uncle? She's not married, so despite not practising the faith anyway, I'm not sure how doing so would appease him.

Morbius (2022)

Trivia: When the Daily Bugle is shown with the main article of Morbius being apprehended for murder, in the top right corner of the paper you can read "Black Cat: Friend or Foe?" This is a reference to the antihero and frequent Spider-Man ally Black Cat. Sony had previously attempted to develop a movie featuring Black Cat and Silver Sable, which would have been called "Silver and Black." This could be Sony planting the seeds of bringing the character to screen, or it may just be an Easter egg.

The Unstoppable Juggernaut - S1-E8

Stupidity: When the X-Men are battling Juggernaut, at one point Storm uses a powerful wind to pull a building out of its foundation and drops it on top of him, destroying the building in the process. She had no way of knowing whether anyone was in the building. She could have killed dozens of innocent people for all she knows. (00:16:25)

Dexter (2006)

Monkey in a Box - S8-E11

Stupidity: Dexter's decision not to kill Trinity when he had the chance eventually led to Rita's death, a mistake Dexter told Deb he would never make again. However, at the end of this episode, he decides to spare Oliver Saxon so Deb can arrest him. Dexter doesn't stay to ensure that Deb successfully has Saxon in custody, which leads to Saxon escaping his shackles with the unwitting help of Deputy Marshal Clayton, and shooting Deb before leaving the scene. Dexter therefore does make the same mistake again.
