Visible crew/equipment: When the acrobatic witness lifts Adam in the air, you can see the wires that really lifted him up.
Continuity mistake: In the final destruction-of-the-temple scene, the huge statue of Dagon starts to topple head first, but in later shots it is sliding towards the camera feet first. This is because director Cecil DeMille was not satisfied with the first take and had the temple re-erected then collapsed a second time. Shots from both destructions are spliced together in an exciting sequence, but rather puzzling architectually.
Continuity mistake: In an early scene at Broderick Crawford's dinner table, his wife comes in to pour a cup of coffee. Half the coffee she pours ends up in the cup, the other half she spills on her hand and the table, yet no one seems to notice.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Mary is eating her oatmeal while Martha is talking to her, take a look at Martha. While talking to Mary she spits out a piece of bread she was eating and this causes the little girl who plays Mary to momentarily slip out of character and smile (almost ready to laugh).
Continuity mistake: When Harpo is playing Russian Roulette, one of the villains claims that the gun has "four bullets" in it. One shot is fired at Harpo, and four by him, totaling five shots.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Jo comes home from New York and sees Beth sick on the sofa, she gives Beth a music box. Beth opens the lid to the music box and in the next shot, the camera is pulled back and Beth opens the lid again.
Continuity mistake: In the very last minute of the film, Cheetah (the chimp) drinks some water that was from the fountain of youth and instantly changes into a baby chimp. But the baby chimp is a different species - a monkey with a long tail - and appears fully grown for that type of monkey.

Plot hole: Immediately before the attack on Pony-That-Walks' village Capt. Brittles states that it's 12 minutes to midnight,and orders the attack. The attack is a surprise attack, yet all the warriors pile out of their tipi's fully clothed, painted and with their eagle feathers braided into their hair.
Continuity mistake: In the film's final scenes at the fuel storage facility, full sunlight is streaming through the overhead rafters. Moments later, it's completely dark and the plant's floodlights are all turned on. A few shots further on, the lights are off and it's daylight again.
Continuity mistake: When the butler tells of Harry Lime's death, at the start of the conversation he can hardly speak English. As the conversation goes on, his English gets better and better, until at the end it's perfect with just an accent.
Suggested correction: He is reluctant to speak English at the start possibly to avoid trouble but later decides otherwise.
Continuity mistake: When Bugs is at the theatre, you can see he a man sitting next to him when he finds his binoculars, but when Bugs sees Elmer in front of him, we cut back to Bugs and the man next to him has disappeared.
Continuity mistake: When the announcer tells Droopy and the wolf about the prize they can have if they win the bullfight, there is a red wall behind the announcer that keeps disappearing and re-appearing between shots.
Continuity mistake: Before Daffy puts the hot towel on Elmer, you can see that Elmer has two hairs on his head. When Daffy puts the towel on Elmer and pulls off his head, the hairs have disappeared, and when Daffy puts Elmer's face back on his head, the hairs have reappeared.
Other mistake: Just as Ichabod Crane places his coat across a small stream of muddy water so Katrina can cross, Brom Bones rides his horse through the water, creating a large splash. Ichabod winds up covered with mud and sitting in the water. Brom scoops up Katrina and rides off with her. There is not a speck of mud or water on her, on Brom or on the horse.
Continuity mistake: At the beginning, Gregory Peck is in bed, tied down, when a storm opens his windows and blows out the candles. But when Ava Gardner walks in and closes the windows, the candles are alight again.
Continuity mistake: When the cat hits a table after being thrown into the perfume shop, a bottle of white hair dye pours onto her tail and you can see the top of the bottle stop next to her. But when we see the cat a couple of shots later, the bottle top has gone.
Continuity mistake: When the turtle who says he is "The Man with 1000 Voices" is standing at Porky's desk, you can see he has his hat in his hand, but in the next shot he is wearing his hat on his head.
Continuity mistake: When we first see the tree hut at the start of the cartoon, you can see there is nothing by the top left corner of the window, but when the camera pans in on the hut, a blue piece of paper has appeared.
